Mobile Memories

Again on This Day of February 15th, 2011:
I always have some kind of a camera on me.
Having the phone camera makes this especially easy, since I don't have to lug along equipment.
I take a lot of pictures, little slices of my life from day to day.
At first glance, these images seem boring and randomly clicked.
I ask you to look a little deeper. Each is a fraction of a second in time and memory preserved.
Imagine then, the environment surrounding each photo.
I can tell you what I was doing and even what I might have been thinking, but I can't tell you to find your own meaning within the images.
Wait. I can. And I will.
Look.

A laptop in it's case and a canvas bag propped against a brick wall outside of a lecture room at Delta College. The wall faces a panel of windows and the sun shines in brightly causing the hallway to become warm. I'm glad I found a bit of breeze under a vent. Now, won't someone hurry up and unlock this door? I'm tired of waiting in the sun.

A crisp and sunny Tuesday afternoon in a full parking lot. Where am I going to park tomorrow? I have to drive the dual wheel, extended cab, full length pick-up truck into school. I hope it's warm tomorrow, I'm going to have to walk up from the damn field.
